About ===== Author: Emanuele Russo Source: https://emanuelegrusso.com/about Updated: 2026-10-17 Torino, IT About me I'm a pilot, I've worked as a project manager, and I'm moving into tech. I got pretty frustrated with how things get done in corporate, and I've always been a nerd. It usually starts with something that annoyed me and wouldn't go away. My Garmin couldn't show my TickTick tasks without another subscription, so I wrote a watch app for it. I wanted my projects public and couldn't tell what personal stuff was still buried in their git history, so I wrote publishable to check. I use more than one AI subscription and kept running out on one while the others sat idle. That's where Crossfeed Orchestrator came from, and later Crossfeed Chat. The watch app is a release candidate, not in the Connect IQ store yet. Crossfeed Chat is not public yet. Publishing my work as open source changed how I work. I'm not afraid of building something just for fun anymore; before, it always felt like I was wasting time. Working with AI agents taught me that the real work is deciding exactly what to build and where it stops. Get that right and the agents do a lot of the rest. They're biased towards doing, so the thinking has to come first, and that part is mine. These days that happens at Castor , which I started with Edoardo Avenia . We publish the tools we build for ourselves and write about how people and machines work together, and where a person still adds something. We also live together, so every idea goes through the other one before it goes anywhere. Edoardo is also on LinkedIn . Castor's code is at github.com/ABCastor . Maybe Castor is already a startup, god knows. We genuinely don't know where the value is yet, so exploring is the only honest path. I studied physics with the Open University . If any of this is useful to you, or you think I've got something wrong, come say hi on LinkedIn .
